Dunn School Patriot Parents

WELCOME Dunn School Patriot Parents!  

 

We have many great events and fundraisers planned for the year and we want to hear and add to the calendar some of your ideas! Here are some of the activities that the kids are fortunate to enjoy and are paid for by, or in part, by the Patriot Parents PTO:

 

  • EVO Rock & Fitness event at the end of the year

  • Bryant Pond – Fall event

  • Bryant Pond – Spring event (4th grade class)

  • Authors and other speakers

  • Field trips

  • Support of STEM & Literacy Events

  • Farm to Table

  • Classroom/teacher needs

  • Teacher & Staff appreciation events/activities

As you can imagine it takes quite a bit of money to fund these activities, and without enough money raised these events may not happen. Patriot Parents fundraising activities include events like math olympics, Art to Remember, Movie Nights and GNG spirit wear. 

 

And then of course there are the events that are across schools for you to get involved in as well, like the Sons’ Social, the Daughters’ Gala, and the Cardboard Sled Derby. And we need your help to make these events a success! 

 

So how can you help make sure that these activities continue? Want to get involved but not sure how?  

 

Dunn Patriot Parent as well as Distrct Patriot Parent meetings are held throughout the year, and are a great opportunity to hear about what’s going on as well as brainstorm ideas for new activities.  We’d love to have many parents come to the meetings! We need your input and ideas! Attendance isn’t mandatory, it’s just one way to stay connected. ☺

 

Another way to keep in touch with what is going on is the Dunn Patriot Parent Facebook page.  This is a way to stay connected on upcoming events and fundraising opportunities to take part and volunteer.  You can also check here for information on events and inks to sign up to volunteer.

 

We will share events and ways to sign up to help with these events at meetings, in the Dunn Deal, on our FB page and website so there are many ways to stay connected, and get involved.
